November 29th, 2010--The Penn-Cumberland Garden Club has announced its 41st Annual Scholarship and Community Projects Benefit will be held on Monday, November 29th, 2010 at the Radisson Penn-Harris Convention Center, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill, 17011. The event will start with a Holiday Market of approximately twenty vendors offering interesting and often unique gardening and gift items, open to the public at 9:00 a.m. A reservation-only luncheon will begin at noon. This will be followed by a lecture-demonstration entitled “Pretty for You-Easy to Do” - Designs for your Home presented by Daniel Vaughn. Dan is a third generation florist and owns a Design Studio/Retail Store in State College. He believes that if you listen, the flowers will guide you to a beautiful design. Please reserve your $30 luncheon-lecture tickets before October 31st by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope with your check to “PCGC”, guests’ names and special dietary needs to Carol Dillon, 850 Meadow Lane, Camp Hill, PA 17011-1545, phone 717-761-6895.

 

June 16-19, 2011--District VI is going to Boston, MA, World Association of Floral Arrangers "This Glorious Earth", World Flower Show, 3 Nights & 4 Days. Join us for the 10th Annual World Flower Show at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA. The 10th World Flower Show will be an extraordinary time for our country, a chance to see and participate in a collaborative effort by the National Garden Clubs, Inc. and The Garden Club of America's design study groups as they host this incredible World Show for the first time in the United States.

You can still deposit after Sept 1st. The deposit assures you a seat and the other payment schedules are as listed. If you miss the Sept 1st date you can still send the deposit.  Your cancelled checks will be your receipt. Youcan buy trip insurance, that too is on the reservation sheet. We can only facilitate one bus. Seats can be confirmed by deposit only. We will wait-list all guests once our bus is full!
